[Robots]

Being a big fan of robots since childhood, I've always kept my eyes open for anything robot related. Much has been done in the development of real-life robotics, and now we even have them in our homes entertaining and even doing some house cleaning (like the iRobot Roomba, Scooba and Looj. There's some great entertainment robots out there and even some 3D robots. Of course I still love the TV/Movie bots!

Besides the bots you see on my site here, I also have a few more, which include WowWee Robotics' RoboSapien Mini (which I named "Zee"), which I bought at Walgreens for around $10 in December 2008, an "Xtreme Fighter" Robot (which I named "Zorkon", pictured at left), which I bought at CVS Pharmacy for around $7.49 after Christmas 2008, and a Mr. Clock Radio talking robot head alarm clock which I got at Walgreens for around $25 after Christmas 2008.

On my wish list are the Lego NXT Mindstorms Robot Building Kit, FurReal Kitty, Interactive R2D2 and Interactive BumbleBee Transformer. I also hope some day to collect a few Cylon figures. Right now the 12" 1978 version Centurions are going for around $60 each so it might be awhile before I get one or two. They come in Chrome Silver and Shiny Gold. I would love to get a Cylon suit from Kropserkel some day and create a real-life Cylon Centurion (of course he will not take over the world. LOL!). I would also like to create an IL Series Cylon (like "Lucifer" and "Spector" in the original Battlestar Galactica Series). In the BSG novels, it is said that the IL series did not walk, but rolled on wheels and the Centurions would have to carry them up steps, etc. This is probably the version I'd start with.
